Really changing means to start doing things differently.  Whether its journaling, exercising, meditating, taking new classes, having difficult conversations, striking up new friendships... you must move out of your comfort zone! I work with clients to help them explore change and where they get stuck.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE.

Having a witness can be reassuring and help to relieve some pain from feeling alone.  Often clients report feeling ashamed of their life experiences.  They are embarrased that difficult things have happened.  Often, however, they are not alone.  Talking with someone you trust is a very good step in the healing process. Once you begin to feel better, you may start reaching out for support in other areas as well.

Couples Counseling

 

Good couples therapy creates the space for couples to slow down and share their feelings and thoughts.  Over time, couples learn communication skills in session that they can practice at home.  Ongoing couples therapy can help create a stronger and more secure relationship.

Self Discovery

 

Self knowledge allows us to feel more grounded, make better choice and make meaning of our lives'. Understanding our past allows us to consciously create our future and helps us notice when we get stuck in patterns from the past.  Therapy is a choice to slow down, feel feelings and begin to integrate parts of ourselves that we have forgotten about. 

 

If you want a life that is worth living, a life that expresses your deepest feelings and emotions and cares and dreams, you have to fight for it.
